Patience

We love this capture from a few years back. Yes, this is Mt. Whitney. It was all about patience with this one. Thinking back, this magic took a good 4 hours of hanging on a canyon wall waiting. We had climbed high to wait for a simple sunrise and had nothing but heavy cloud cover from dawn to 7:30. Then, as we were about to pack it in, the sun beamed glorious light on the foothill valley before our eyes. This lasted about 4 minutes.
