Take a little more time before you take your next photo. Take particular
attention in finding a more interesting point of view. Start with finding a
different spot to shoot from that classic scenic look out. This could mean
getting onto the ground to shoot low or finding a higher point to shoot from.
Resist pulling all those tripod legs out to the maximum.
Seems people drive to those scenic lookouts, get out of the car,
grab their camera, turn it on, walk up to edge, point and shoot, jump back in
the car and travel to next scenic lookout.
